My advice to other YoPros is: Find something that you truly love, and work every day to be the best at it. Do the things you say you’ll do. The credibility and trust this builds with those around you will make future work so much easier.

I am: 34

I’m a young professional at: Olive Crest, Director of Data and Outcomes

I get involved in my community through the following organization(s): Olive Crest, Cal Baptist University

I am a happy resident in the City of: Riverside.

My career goals are to: I currently work at Olive Crest, a non profit that serves children and their families in the Riverside area, and I truly feel like I have my ultimate dream job. It’s seriously an awesome place to work and I feel like I have the best job in the world.

My professional motto is: Delight your customers

My advice to other YoPros is: Find something that you truly love, and work every day to be the best at it. Do the things you say you’ll do. The credibility and trust this builds with those around you will make future work so much easier.

When I’m not working or volunteering, you can find me: Hiking or mountain biking around the hills of Riverside

I joined PICK because: I’ve lived and worked in Riverside my entire life and never really became connected to my community. I discovered Pick- a group that loves our community- and immediately resonated with their mission and its awesome members.

PICK is awesome because: Anyone can complain about the problems in their city. Pick is filled with a membership that does the opposite- it’s a group of young professionals who love our community, and actively work to sustain and improve it from the inside out.

I maximize my PICK membership by: Attend the events! Especially the Power Hours. You’ll get an opportunity to meet amazing leaders in our community who you may never have the opportunity to cross paths with otherwise.

The issues in Riverside that I care about most are: Safety, equality, and prosperity.
