Dr. Christon Arthur, President, La Sierra University
Dr. Christon Arthur began his tenure as President of La Sierra University on July 1, 2024. He is the university's twentieth leader since its founding in 1922 and the sixth president since La Sierra became a university in 1990. Since joining La Sierra University, Dr. Arthur has championed initiatives focused on transparency, inclusivity, student success, strategic growth, and community engagement. Prior to La Sierra University, he served as Provost at Andrews University and held several academic leadership positions throughout his distinguished higher education career. A native of Grenada, Dr. Arthur is recognized for his commitment to inclusive leadership and fostering environments where individuals can thrive and succeed.
