My professional motto is: never underestimate what you have to offer.

Impact Chair

I am: 28

I’m a young professional at: UC Riverside

I get involved in my community through the following organization(s): Riverside LGBTQ+ Pride, City of Riverside Human Relations Commission, PICK Board Development Training Program

I am a happy resident in the City of: Riverside

My career goals are to: increase access to higher education in the Inland Empire while making Riverside a desirable city to stay after graduation.

My professional motto is: never underestimate what you have to offer.

My advice to other Young Pros is: to really get to know the other people at networking events. You never know when a connection will lead to a new opportunity.

When I’m not working or volunteering, you can find me: at the beach or binging Netflix!

I joined PICK because: I wanted to grow my professional network in my new community after moving here two years ago at the beginning of the pandemic.

PICK is awesome because: of the passionate members.

I maximize my PICK membership by: attending as many events as possible, serving on the PICK Board, Civic Engagement Committee, and taking part in the Board Development Training Program.

The issues in Riverside that I care about most are: creating a more inclusive community, particularly for LGBTQ+ folks,  and increasing access to mental health services.
