Professional Development Committee The Professional Development Committee is responsible for directing opportunities for members to further their professional and educational development. These include special speaker events, educational series, and ad-hoc networking opportunities.

PD meets First Tuesday of every month - all are welcome!

Social Committee The Social Committee coordinates social and cultural gatherings at various establishments around Riverside, including monthly lunches and dinners, happy hours, art exhibitions, wine tasting, etc.

Civic Involvement Committee The Civic Involvement Committee provides space for members to enhance their sense of awareness and ownership of community needs, and inspire members to utilize and develop their skills to address those needs, there by raising up future leaders with the desire to serve and impact the community.

CIC meets the FIRST Monday of every month - all are welcome!

Membership Committee Strength is found in numbers. The Membership Committee coordinates all efforts for outreach and retention.

As an all volunteer organization, The Pick Group needs people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and help us do the work of creating opportunities for young professionals to connect socially and develop professionally while they engage civically. The best way to support this effort is to join one of our committees.

Participating in a committee expands your connections with other young professionals in the area, develops your leadership skills, and looks great on your resume!

Some of the committees are focused more on the internal operations of the organization while others are more focused on our activity as an organization in the community both for the benefit of our members and the community at large.
