My professional motto is: let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no.

I am: 24

I’m a young professional at: California Baptist University – Jabs School of Business

I get involved in my community through the following organization(s): PICK Group, Riverside Business Week, and Inland Empire Startup Week

I’m proud of this achievement: Obtaining my Master of Science in Organizational Psychology

I am a happy resident in the City of: Corona

My career goals are to: enhance organizational and professional development, employee satisfaction, and strategic planning in the workplace by becoming a Training and Development Consultant or a Director of a university Career Center. But first, I would love to become a mom and run a business from home.

My professional motto is: let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no.

My advice to other YoPros is: to listen to Winnie the Pooh, “I always go to where I’m going by walking away from where I have been.”

When I’m not working or volunteering, you can find me: at craft food or coffee spots, walking my pup, spending time with my community group, or catching up on Netflix with my (soon to be) husband.

I joined PICK because: when I first transitioned into my new role at work I was often times the youngest person in the room and at networking events which felt intimidating at first. I then looked for ways to surround myself and learn from other like-minded young professionals and found the PICK Group. Since joining PICK, I have become more confident in who I am as a young professional myself.

PICK is awesome because: of the opportunities you have for professional development and establishing relationships with individuals that you may never have met before. PICK becomes the one thing we all have in common and from that I have gained a new community in my life.

I maximize my PICK membership by: serving as the Chair for the Marketing Committee, attending PICK Power Breakfast, and serving on the Board.

The issues in Riverside that I care about most are: keeping college graduates in the Riverside area after graduating through employment opportunities, providing scholarship opportunities to minimize student loans, and affordable housing programs.
