I am: 28
I’m a young professional at: RPB CPA’s
I get involved in my community through the following organization(s): PICK, and RPB’s annual non-profit fundraising.
I’m proud of this achievement: Moving out of my hometown the Coachella Valley and working on obtaining my CPA designation.
My career goals are to: Provide value to those I work with and be able to continue to do the things that bring fulfillment from both a personal and business level.
My professional motto is: “Nothing in life worth having is ever easy”
My advice to other YoPros is: As a YoPro we develop skills and experiences is our field, there are many organizations and individuals who can benefit from your expertise and knowledge, give back to your community, it will help guide you into finding out what it is that you truly want to achieve in business and in life.
When I’m not working or volunteering, you can find me: Out on an adventure, weekend road trips are my personal favorite, I love visiting new towns and places I have not been before. If I stay local, you can usually find me up on a hike somewhere or hanging out with my German Shepherd – Rocky Balboa. I’ve also recently picked up golf again…it’s a work in progress, I’m not sure if it’s actually relaxing or more stressful than work working on my swing.
I joined PICK because: I wanted to learn more about the diverse community that is the City of Riverside. Being able to be a part of a group of people who not only have a wealth of knowledge about the City but the drive and desire to make it a better place to work and live in, it was a perfect fit for me.
PICK is awesome because: The amazing people I have met at all the pick events, great community leaders, business leaders, great young professionals.
I maximize my PICK membership by: Being involved on the Board of Directors, and attending every PICK event I can.
The issues in Riverside that I care about most are: Improving the opportunities for young professionals, which through a domino effect, improves the opportunities of the entire Riverside community.
