The Pick Group is a network of career-minded individuals that offer professional, social, and civic opportunities to help cultivate the future leaders of Riverside. We will strive to inform, network, involve and engage our members in the growth and success of our community.
We don’t want this to be a typical networking group, with shallow conversation and the exchange of business cards. We want to create space where all are welcome to share ideas, work together, and impact Riverside. We seek to build a sustainable organization that provides relevant and applicable programs for its members, enticing each of us to invest in the success of our city.

Meet and network with peers! Connect with mentors! Stay informed! And Grow professionally!
Pick and Pledge offers a unique and interesting way to inspire our members and to provide us space to further develop our talents by volunteering with non-profits.
Pick and Pledge, as are all other meetings, are open to the public, so whether you’re a member, curious, or even just looking for an engaging and empowering evening with peer….We want you there!
Pick and Pledge takes a twist to the standard get to know you and does it “speed dating style”.
The evening will begin with a word from our President and then we will break out into a speed-dating fiasco!
This “get to know you” will allow you one-on-one time with non-profits and groups all over our city. This is your chance to ask questions, see how you can help, and learn more of the resources our city has.
Here are some agencies that you will want to talk to: Riverside Art Museum, Path of Life, Community Settlement Association, Riverside Humane Society, The Unforgettables, Family Service Association, American Cancer Society, League of Women Voters, Operation Safe House……AND MORE!!!!
Last years Pick and Pledge, members committed to giving back 2,009 hours to the community in whatever way, shape or forms. Some of the results are in.
Pick members have raised 3,529 hours this year to better the community.
