  • I want to go to an event but don’t know anyone going, what can I do?Because this is a networking group, you will find that members are friendly and attend events in order to meet new people. If you are interested in meeting new people in a smaller group setting, take advantage of our Meet and Greet program by emailing membership@pickriverside.org.This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Meet and Greet offers happy hours or coffee breaks before the start of an event so you can meet people in a more intimate setting prior to the actual event.
  • What should I wear?

    Because most events are scheduled before or after work, come in your work attire. Most events are business casual; if other dress is required, we will make a note in the event description.

  • Do I have to register for Pick Group events?

    We usually ask you to pre-register for our events so that we can accurately estimate how much food and space we will need. If events do fill up, walk-ins will be turned away at the door.

  • Do you have any events on weekends?

    Most of our events are scheduled Monday-Friday, while most of our volunteer opportunities are offered on weekends. From time to time, we will also have select social and cultural events scheduled on weekends.

  • Who decides what kind of events you do?

    Our professional development, social, and civic committees composed of Pick Group Members organize and execute all of our events. We also welcome feedback and suggestions from our members at large.

  • Why should I attend an event?

    Attending Pick Group events is a great way to meet new people, connect with friends, and grow a diverse network. Considering the wide variety of events offered there is sure to be an event for you.
