20lbs of peanut butter and 12 jackets

Saturday afternoon, 16 Picksters were handed 12 clues and with $30 each darted into their cars on a race against time and race to gather as many winter jackets, food goods and backpack supplies for Path of Life, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Community Settlement Association. Each team scurried around Riverside finding and picking up items at locations like Social Security offices, Operation Safe House, Target, Stater Bros, Path of Life’s Family Shelter, and Good Will.

In a fun and simple act, 16 Picksters, collected:

* 13 rings of school paper * 5lbs of Formula
* 2 Rulers * 70 jars of baby food
* 8 Binders * 14lbs evaporated milk
* 15 highlighters * 25lbs dry milk
* 6 sets of dividers * 8lbs of Oatmeal
* 200 pens * 20 lbs of peanut butter
* 268 pencils * 15 boxes of Mac N Cheese
* 60 erasers * 20lbs of pasta
* 5 boxes of crayons * 20lbs of dried beans
* 3 boxes of flash cards * 5 lbs of canned tuna
* 15lbs of canned vegetables
* 12 Jackets * canned beans
* 2.5lbs nuts
* canned stew
