Annual Member “Picknic”

Posted on August 10th, 2010 by damien

We’re all looking forward to the first annual member “Picknic” this Saturday at Andulka Park – the beautiful new park at the intersection of Chicago and Central Avenues in the Canyon Crest area of Riverside!

The Picknic is going to run from 11am to 2pm and give us plenty of time to celebrate the winding down of summer and the closing of another GREAT year working with other picksters to help create a culture of opportunity and engagement in our city!   The event is completely family friendly, so we’re all looking forward to seeing the kiddo’s of our members (the next generation of picksters) in action on the playground and in a few organized games!

In addition to creating some relaxing space to enjoy together, the Annual Picknic allows us a short period of time to hear from both our in coming and out going Presidents, a chance to acknowledge and celebrate our new members, and an opportunity to vote for our new board!
